I am using the Ugee 1910B graphics monitor tablet. It is not working with the software. I boot the software, and I get a Access Violation at 9D1649 in module oC6.exe at 000418 on boot-up, then an Access Violation at 406DCE in module oC6.exe at FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, then the program launches. It's just the base window, no swatches, no brushes, no nothing, just the top title bar, the dropdown bars (most of which have access violation errors, most of those are 406DCE (Help, View, Select, Layer, File), one is of D79876 in module oC6.exe at 000099 (Window)) and a blank background. Trying to exit the program pops up another Access Violation at 992CFA. Tabbing back into the program pops up a violation at 9D1649. The program must be closed via task manager.
Hopefully this should be enough information to fix it. If you need more, please ask. EDIT: Oh, the Ugee 1910B uses the TabletPC API.
I asked Ugee. This sounds like an issue with the tablet file when you replug it back it, similar to my Wacom tablet. Don't know about the memory accessory issue though, because all I can think of is the registry file issue that have been posted in the past. With my Wacom tablet, the pressure sensitivity within OpenCanvas does not work unless I enable 'Use Windows Ink.' So it is pretty much relying on the OS tablet api to function properly.
When repluging the tablet back into the pc without a reboot, the tablet does not work or even get detected by the driver. I have to restart the wacom tablet host service using a batch file I created: net stop WTabletServicePro net start WTabletServicePro You might want to try the same thing with tablet if it had similar problem when replugging in the tablet. I can confirm it: it's your tablet. A lil' history (more like long) of my own: Back with OC5, I also had a Monoprice 10x6, which worked like WONDERS. Then OC6 came out.
I had tried the beta, and everything was just dandy with it! I downloaded the final release, as a trial, and everything was working fine!

Except for this random 'Invalid Pointer Operation' pop-up that showed whenever the program closed. Sure, it was annoying, but didn't hinder usability, so screw it. Then I bought the program, shoved the key into OC6, aaaaaaaand. OC starts acting EXACTLY how you're describing! So, I went back to trial (by removing PGN's stuff from the%APPDATA% folder), and ran with it. The thing lasts for 4 months, after all, and I could get work done anyway with the trial.
After a while, I got myself a Huion GT-190, which is pretty much the same as your Ugee, and eventually since OC6 had received an update, I went back to check if I could use it, who knows. I shoved the key back in. And it worked! Hell if I knew what was different, and it didn't hit me that it could've been the Monoprice, since it worked on OC5, so I just shrugged it off and moved on. Then for whatever reason, it started to act funny with my girlfriend (who has a Monoprice of her own, and also uses OC). We fussed with the registry, we installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, multinstalled (I dunno XD), and it stayed busted! Today I tried a Huion H420 that we usually use on our Toshiba Tablet.
Nothing wrong, OC was working just fine.facepalm. So, yep. I'm afraid it's your Ugee that OC isn't recognizing for whatever reason. Now, there is SOMETHING worth trying. Go here: Get the drivers for the GT-190, which is pretty similar to your Ugee. Who knows, Huion's drivers may recognize it! If that's the case, then chances of getting OC6 to work right are pretty high.
Also set OC to work with 'OS Coordinates' instead of 'Tablet Coordinates'! Hope that helps! Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be sending this thread's link to PGN. I've reported the errors to them myself, but with no lead to go on, it's normal that they haven't fixed it yet. THERE IS HOPE NOW!!! I don't normaly coment wiht this stuff but I can note that with the Ugee M1000L this problem can be solved by launching without the tablet pluged in.
All the drivers are up to date and the reason i think that Open Canvas6 gives that eror is when it launches is because it is looking for the tilt sensitivity within the 'pen' it's-self but none are present so you get this eror. If you lanch with either noting pluged in,or a mouse pluged in, I have had no issues, and note- the sensitivity does work. Archived: labview real-time module for mac. If you do not have 'pen tilt' sensitivity launch with out your tablet pliged in.
