Eos Usb Wia Driver For Mac
Hi folks, I was shooting over the weekend and brought my camera into work today so I could download the pictures directly. I figured I wouldn't need to bring the software - I thought I could download it, or find some substitute that would work - but it seems impossible! Shots are on CF card on a 30D, and I'm trying to transfer them to a Mac.
Shots are in RAW. I don't need anything but the transfer capability. I don't have a card reader, only a USB cable. I see some discussion about how to get around the updates for PCs, but does anyone have any suggestions for how I can get these pics transfered?
Thanks in advance! Lenny L wrote: See here. 'Both Microsoft and Apple include PTP support in their operating systems, from Windows Me onwards (excluding Windows CE), and Mac OS X v10.1 onwards, respectively.' I didn't know the xxD series bodies support PTP for image transfer - I thought you needed a comms grip such as the WFT-E3 to get full bi-directional PTP transfer support? Good news if the camera supports PTP for image transfer out of the box, but it won't work for me without the canon WIA drivers (not PTP).
